If you see a review that breaks the guidelines for reviewers, you can report it. You don't need to be logged in.
How to report
- Open the company's page and find the review.
- Choose Report below the review.
- Under What's wrong? choose one of the reasons below.
- Feel free to write under Briefly describe what's wrong which part it's about. It's optional and no more than 1,000 characters.
- Choose Send report.
You get a case number in the confirmation. Keep it if you want to be able to refer to the case.
The reasons
- Personal information: a name, phone number or anything else that can identify someone.
- Fake or paid review: written by the company itself, a competitor or in return for payment.
- Abusive or hateful language: threats, harassment or discrimination.
- Not a genuine experience: the reviewer hasn't been a customer.
- Something else that breaks the guidelines: e.g. advertising or content unrelated to the company.
What happens next
- The review stays up while we look into it. A report doesn't change the review by itself.
- A moderator looks at the case and decides whether the review breaks a rule.
- If it breaks a rule, the reviewer gets the decision with a reason and can appeal.
- The company and the reviewer aren't told who made the report.
Notification to you about the outcome is coming later. If you have questions about the case, contact us with the case number.
If it doesn't work
- You've sent a lot of reports today: you can send 10 in 24 hours when you're logged in. Try again tomorrow.
- The review no longer exists: it has already been deleted or isn't public.
- Disagree with the criticism? That's not a reason to report. If you're the company, you can reply publicly.
- If you want to report something other than a single review, e.g. a fake profile, see Report misuse or a profile.
