A widget is a small box with your SaysScore, stars or reviews that you put on your own website, webshop or in your emails. It fetches the figures directly from TrustSays, so you don't need to update anything yourselves when new reviews come in.
Before you start
- Your profile must be claimed. A profile that hasn't been claimed gets no widget. See Create or claim your profile.
- Your role must have access to widgets. Owner, Admin and Marketing can change widgets. The other roles can only see them.
- On Free you can use the Mini widget. All 53 widgets come with Start and the larger plans.
How to do it
- Log in and open the dashboard.
- Choose Widgets in the menu. Widget studio opens.
- Choose a widget in the list on the left. The preview uses your own figures.
- Customise colours, shape, font, language and texts in the Customise panel on the right.
- Choose Copy code under Code for your website.
- Paste the code where the widget should appear on your site, and save or publish the page.
The code consists of two parts: a box with your settings and a line that loads the TrustSays script. If you have several widgets on the same page, the script only needs to be there once.
The settings are in the code itself. If you change anything in Widget studio afterwards, you need to copy the code again and replace the old one on your site.
