You have the right to get a copy of everything we've stored about you. The copy is one file in JSON format, which can be read by other programs.
How to request a copy
- Log in and go to My profile.
- Choose the Settings tab.
- Find the Download your data section and choose Request a copy.
- It now says Requested · ready within 24 hours.
When the copy is ready
You get an email with the subject Your TrustSays data export is ready and a button, Download my data. The link works for 7 days, and you need to be logged in to download the file. The file is called trustsays-data followed by the date.
What's in the file?
- Your account details: first name, email, country, language and when you became a member.
- All your reviews with the companies' replies.
- Decisions from moderators and your appeals.
- Your helpful votes, the companies you follow, and your reports.
- Your cookie choices, login sessions and notifications.
Technical secrets such as login codes and hash values aren't included. They aren't information about you.
Delete your data
You can delete a single review under My profile or your whole account under Settings, Delete account. Read what happens in Delete your account.
If it doesn't work
- You can only request one copy in 24 hours. If it says You've already requested a copy today., wait until tomorrow.
- No email? Check your spam folder.
- Has the link expired? Request a new copy.
